Customers praised the boots' sharp, understated design suitable for work and casual wear. The shape looks sharper in person than it did in the photos. I especially like that the black finish is understated enough for work but still has some character. The boots have some weight to them, so it took me a day or two to get used to that.

I’ve been wearing these for longer workdays and they’ve held up well so far. The sole feels sturdy and the boot gives good support around the ankle. I do wish the leather were a little softer straight out of the box.

These have a simple look, but that’s what I like about them. The black leather and clean silhouette make them easy to wear without looking too formal. Mine needed a short break-in period around the heel.

I like the taller lace-up shape because it feels more substantial than a regular dress shoe. The outsole has a solid feel and gives decent grip when walking. They’re a little heavier than what I usually wear to work, but nothing uncomfortable.

The black leather has a clean finish without looking overly shiny. I’ve worn these with dark jeans and wool trousers, and they work well with both. They felt a little stiff around the ankle at first, but loosened up after a few wears.
