Beaumont is a coffee brown wingtip boot made with calfskin. Brogue detailing brings perforated patterns to the upper, drawing attention to the panels and toe.

Leather and finish

The upper is calfskin, with calfskin lining and a cowhide insole. The wash is applied to the assembled shoe, making it part of the finish on this pair.

I like the brogue detailing because it gives the shoes some character without making them too flashy. I’ve worn them with chinos and dark jeans and they work well with both. They do feel a bit heavier than my regular dress shoes.

The brown finish is probably my favorite part of these. It isn’t completely uniform, which gives the leather a more natural look. The sole also has decent grip compared with smoother dress shoes I own.

The brown washed leather has a really nice worn-in look without feeling beat up. The color has a lot more depth in person than it does in the photos. They were a little stiff at first but started softening after a few wears.
