Camden is a coffee brown chelsea boot made with calfskin. Elastic side panels define the pull-on silhouette and leave the front of the boot free of laces.

Leather and finish

The upper is calfskin, with calfskin lining and a cowhide insole. The wash is applied to the assembled shoe, making it part of the finish on this pair.

Cemented construction is paired with a leather sole with rubber patches.

The brown color is easy to match and looks good with chinos or a suit. They were a bit stiff around the heel at first, but nothing unusual for a new leather shoe.

Wore these to the office and then out to dinner afterward. They were comfortable enough for several hours on my feet, and the sole felt more stable than a typical leather dress sole.

I wanted a dress shoe that didn’t look too flashy, and these fit the bill. The shape is clean and slightly more structured than my usual shoes. The leather lining is a nice touch.

The brown leather looks really nice in person and works well with both navy and gray pants. They felt a little firm the first couple of wears, but started getting more comfortable after that.
