Product Details

Walker is a coffee brown cap-toe service boot made with shell cordovan. A cap-toe seam divides the front panel from the vamp and gives the toe a clearly defined outline.

Leather and finish

The upper is shell cordovan, with horse leather lining and a cowhide insole. The wash is applied to the assembled shoe, making it part of the finish on this pair.

Construction and sole

Goodyear-welted construction is paired with a leather sole with Vibram® rubber patches. The listed heel height is 5 cm.

How to wear it

Pair the boots with straight denim or twill trousers. Turn up the hem to show the upper and its toe or panel detailing.

The cordovan is probably my favorite part of this pair. It has a smooth finish without looking overly shiny, and the brown tone works well with navy, gray, and olive pants. The heel is a little higher than what I usually wear, but it still feels stable.

These feel built for long-term wear. The outsole has good grip and the leather feels thick and supportive around the foot. They’re definitely heavier than my everyday shoes, but I actually like the solid feel.

I really like the cap-toe shape and the camel leather laces against the darker brown upper. The Goodyear welt gives them a sturdy feel without making the design look overly rugged. They were fairly stiff for the first few wears.

The coffee brown cordovan has a lot more depth in person than I expected. It changes slightly depending on the light and looks great with dark denim. They’re pretty substantial boots, so the weight took me a little time to get used to.
