The inside feels nicely finished and the leather has a good amount of structure. I’ve worn them with chinos and wool pants and they looked good with both. They felt slightly snug at first but became more comfortable after a few wears.

I was looking for a black shoe that felt more substantial than a lightweight dress shoe. These have a solid sole and a structured upper that feels secure on foot. They do need a short break-in period.

These are pretty easy to match with most of my work clothes. The black color is simple, but the shape keeps them from looking too basic. The heel area felt a little stiff at first and softened up with wear.

The leather looks nicer in person and doesn’t have an overly shiny finish. I wore these for a dinner and had no issues for several hours. I’d still break them in before wearing them for a full day.

I like the structured shape because it looks dressy without feeling too formal. The sole feels sturdy and gives better grip than some of my smoother dress shoes. They’re a little heavier than I expected, but not uncomfortable.
